Charlotte BookPalooza is Charlotte's premier book festival that brings authors & readers together for a jam packed day all for the love of books! Hosted by Books on the House, a local non-profit, it’s a FREE event packed with author signings, loads of giveaways, live entertainment, local vendors that love books, a reading lounge, interactive experiences and of course, ALL THINGS BOOKS!
Read to a Rescue dog in our Reader's Lounge, Meet Brittney Arena, or featured Author as well as our 50 authors who are the best of the best in Charlotte, get creative with our hands on activites, photo ops, and vendors/makers who are bringing their best and newest creative wares to our Bookish Bazaar! Get a TAROT readings, meet royalty, and get creative with our activations. Join our RAPID RAFFLE with over 100 unique prizes. We will also be giving away 2 VIP tickets to Persephone’s Grove Fantasy Ball held January 30-31, 2026.
With thousands of book lovers joining us each year, Charlotte BookPalooza is where reading meets fun — all while supporting our nonprofit’s mission to get free books into the hands of kids and adults across Charlotte, LKN & WNC regions! Come for the Books, Stay for the Vibes!

Each Tarot Reading will be 15 minutes for $50. You must arrive 15 minutes before your time. If you are more than 5 min. late, we will have to reschedule you for another open slot (if available) for that day or shorten the reading time.
